My client was arrested by officers from the Melbourne Police Department and charged with Battery after he allegedly punched a bouncer during a bar fight in Downtown Melbourne. The crime of Battery is a first degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to a year in jail. I contacted the intake prosecutor and explained that my client was actually the one who was attacked for no reason and never touched or struck anyone. The State dismissed the charge.2015: All Charges Dismissed for Client Facing Four Counts of Use or Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and One Count of Possession of Not More Than 20 Grams of Cannabis.
My client was arrested in Merritt Island, Florida by deputies from the Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and charged with four counts of Paraphernalia, which is classified as a first degree misdemeanor, punishable by up to one year. He was also charged with one count of Possession of Cannabis. My client was arrested in Satellite Beach, Florida after he was pulled over while riding his bicycle without a light. The Satellite Beach police officer allegedly smelled alcohol and requested that my client perform field sobriety exercises and my client refused. The officer charged him with Driving Under the Influence and Resisting an Officer Without Violence. Both charges were dismissed.
